But we know the struggle: you get a new phone or upgrade your PC, and suddenly your entire history is just gone.
Why did this happen? Because we actually respect your privacy. Since day one, we’ve refused to hoard your personal data on our servers. Your stats lived exclusively on your device. It’s awesome for your privacy, but honestly, it was a pain when you switched devices.
Until today.
We are hyped to officially launch the AREALME Data Import/Export feature! You can now easily pack up your hard-earned test scores and game records and move them to your new setup.

How we’re keeping it fair
We know how competitive our community is. To keep the leaderboards legit and prevent people from passing around “god-tier” save files to fake their stats, we had to put a few basic guardrails in place:
- Use it or lose it: Export files expire after 12 hours and can only be used once.
- Online check: You need an internet connection to import so we can run a quick security check (we still don’t save your personal data, don’t worry).
- One tab only: Make sure you close all other Arealme tabs before exporting/importing to avoid corrupting your file!
You might notice that, unlike some commercial games, we don’t delete your old data from your original device when you export. While wiping it would totally eliminate data sharing, we didn’t want to be that extreme. These rules are basically here to keep honest players honest, without making the process a massive headache for you.
