But we know the struggle: you get a new phone or upgrade your PC, and suddenly your entire history is just gone.

Why did this happen? Because we actually respect your privacy. Since day one, we’ve refused to hoard your personal data on our servers. Your stats lived exclusively on your device. It’s awesome for your privacy, but honestly, it was a pain when you switched devices.

Until today.

We are hyped to officially launch the [**AREALME Data Import/Export** feature](https://www.arealme.com/data/en/)! You can now easily pack up your hard-earned test scores and game records and move them to your new setup.

Click this link to export/import your data:

**How we’re keeping it fair**

We know how competitive our community is. To keep the leaderboards legit and prevent people from passing around “god-tier” save files to fake their stats, we had to put a few basic guardrails in place:

- **Use it or lose it:** Export files expire after 12 hours and can only be used once.
- **Online check:** You need an internet connection to import so we can run a quick security check (we still don’t save your personal data, don’t worry).
- **One tab only:** Make sure you close all other Arealme tabs before exporting/importing to avoid corrupting your file!

You might notice that, unlike some commercial games, we **don’t** delete your old data from your original device when you export. While wiping it would totally eliminate data sharing, we didn’t want to be that extreme. These rules are basically here to keep honest players honest, without making the process a massive headache for you.

**Got issues?**

If your import glitches out or you have any trouble making the switch, don’t stress—just hit us up. We’re always here to help.

Go back up your stats, and we’ll see you on the leaderboards!

11 Years, 100+ People, 34 Languages: A Map of Our Journey

I recently put together this map to visualize something I’m very proud of: the global team that has built Arealme since 2014. I recently put together this map to visualize something I’m very proud of: the global team that has built Arealme since 2014.

Each pin represents a translator who has worked with us over the last 11 years. There are over 100 of them, covering 34 languages. For a long time, everything you read on our site was purely human-powered.

We all know the world has changed. With the rise of AI, the translation industry is facing a massive shift, and many talented people are struggling to find their place. At Arealme, we’ve started using AI too, but looking at this map reminds me why we can’t—and won’t—go 100% machine.

AI is fast, but it doesn’t have a “hometown.” It doesn’t understand the local humor or the cultural soul that a real person brings to a personality test. That’s why we are still collaborating with our human team. We’re using AI as a tool, but our translators remain the heart of our content.

I’ll admit, I miss the “pre-AI” days. It felt more personal. But as we move toward 2025, I’m glad we’re finding a way to evolve without leaving our human partners behind.

To our team across the world: Thank you for the last decade. We’re still in this together.

The Cat in the Old Hard Drive, and a Gentle Era Without AI

Happy New Year everyone. Today is January 2, 2026. As I begin this new year, I found myself doing some digital spring cleaning and opened a dusty old hard drive that has been sitting in my drawer for ages. As the disk began to spin with its familiar, faint hum, it felt like I was opening a time capsule from a completely different life. Amidst the sea of disordered folders, I found them again—a series of illustrations by the Japanese artist Sai Tamiya.

It was back in 2009 when I first encountered these images on an internet forum. The artwork tells a simple but devastatingly beautiful story of a cat’s entire life. It starts with a tiny ball of fur arriving in a child’s world, follows their shared moments of growing up together, and ends with that quiet, inevitable departure as the child becomes an adult and the cat’s time finally runs out.

In 2009, these drawings moved me to tears because I had a cat of my own back then. Her name was Bibi. She was a gentle soul, and her rhythmic breathing and soft purrs were the background music of my daily life. Today, as I look at these files again, I realized with a heavy heart that I no longer have any photos of her. Those digital fragments of her physical self have been lost to time. Yet, looking at Sai Tamiya’s illustrations, I feel Bibi’s presence more strongly than ever. The cat in the drawings followed the same path Bibi did—staying by my side until she eventually had to leave for a place I couldn’t follow.

Revisiting these works in 2026, I feel a profound sense of nostalgia, not just for Bibi, but for the era itself. We live in a time now where AI can generate a thousand perfect images of cats in seconds, but there is something hollow in that perfection. Sai Tamiya’s work belongs to a “naive” age—a time when human illustrators breathed life into every stroke with their own hands. Her signature translucency and those delicate, fragile lines weren’t the result of a prompt or an algorithm. They were a reflection of a human soul contemplating life, growth, and the pain of saying goodbye.

In that era, every piece of art that moved us was tethered to a real person who might have felt the same grief or loved a creature just like Bibi. AI can simulate the look of a watercolor wash, but it can never understand the weight of a memory or the ache of a silent house. There is a warmth in those hand-drawn days that feels increasingly precious now.

Thank you, Sai Tamiya, for that gift of gentleness you gave me in 2009. And thank you, Bibi. Even without a photo, you are still here, living within the colors that never fade. May 2026 be a year where we all hold onto the things that are real, human, and irreplaceable.

If you’ve been hanging out with us on Arealme for a while, you might have occasionally bumped into a “520 Error” page. It was annoying, we know.

That’s why our team set a huge goal: **to completely wipe out these errors before the clock strikes midnight for 2026.**

And guess what? We did it! Just look at the chart below—that beautiful flat line at the end is what success looks like.

### How we made Arealme better for you

We didn’t want to bring any “technical baggage” into 2026. To make sure your quiz experience is smoother than ever, we focused on three simple things:

- **Giving the site a speed boost:** We tweaked our servers so they can handle more visitors at once. No more lagging, just fast results.
- **Tidying up our security:** We gave our digital “locks” an upgrade. This keeps the site safe and ensures that your connection stays solid and uninterrupted.
- **Modernizing our “engine”:** Just like updating your phone’s apps, we updated all our internal software to the latest versions. It’s all fresh, modern, and super reliable now.

### Ready for a fresh start!

We wanted to make sure that when you come to Arealme for your personality tests and fun quizzes in 2026, everything just _works_ perfectly. No more “refreshing the page” or wondering what went wrong.

Thank you for being part of our community. We’re so excited to head into the New Year with a faster, safer, and 100% stable site for everyone!

It’s December 25, 2025. As we wrap up another incredible year in gaming, the team at **Arealme** wants to extend a massive thank you to our community.

Back in late November, we launched our most ambitious feature yet: **[Arealme Combat Power](https://www.arealme.com/stats/)**. Our goal was simple—to give you a comprehensive, RPG-style analysis of your esports capabilities across six distinct dimensions.

We expected some interest, but we didn’t expect _this_. The response has been overwhelming, and today, we want to share some fascinating data we’ve collected over the past month, along with some tips on how to get the most out of your training heading into the New Year.

## The Global Leaderboard: Who is the Strongest? 🌏

Since launch, over **60,000 users** have stepped into the arena to test their mettle. The data is rolling in from over **30 different countries**, making this a truly global competition.

Currently, the most active participants are hailing from:

1. **Japan** 🇯🇵
2. **South Korea** 🇰🇷
3. **United States** 🇺🇸
4. **Brazil** 🇧🇷

**Here is the burning question: Which country has the highest average score?**
According to our data, the current crown goes to **South Korea**. 🏆 Their players are setting the bar incredibly high across almost all dimensions. But don’t let that discourage you—records are made to be broken!

## Unprecedented Engagement: You Guys Are Grinding! 💪

What surprised us most wasn’t just the number of users, but how _intensely_ you are using the system.

- **Average Dwell Time:** Users are spending an average of **8 to 10 minutes** on the Combat Power homepage. In the world of the web, that is an eternity. It tells us you aren’t just clicking through; you are analyzing, studying, and strategizing.
- **Completion Rate:** The average user completes at least **6 different tests**.
- **The Elite 10%:** The most dedicated top 10% of our user base have completed **all 20+ tests** in the system. That is pure dedication.

### The Fan Favorites: CPS and Reaction Time

Among the extensive battery of tests, two clear winners have emerged in popularity: **The [CPS (Clicks Per Second) Test](https://www.arealme.com/click-speed-test/en/)** and the **[Reaction Time Test](https://www.arealme.com/reaction-test/en/)**.

We’ve noticed a trend where users don’t just take these tests once. Many of you are treating them like a daily gym workout, coming back every single day to warm up or see if you can shave a few milliseconds off your record. This “daily grind” mentality is exactly what builds pro-level mechanics.

## Why We Built “Combat Power” (And Why You Should Trust It)

We aren’t new to this. Since **AREALME launched in 2014**, we have been one of the world’s premier destinations for ability assessment. For over a decade, we have been a go-to resource for professional gamers, streamers, and industry veterans to showcase their skills.

We built the **Combat Power** system because we had 10 years of historical data and millions of test results. We used that massive dataset to create a scoring standard that is scientifically grounded, accurate, and fair.

We’ve loved reading your comments in the feedback section—sharing your high scores, discussing strategies, and pointing out bugs helps us improve. Your enthusiasm is the fuel that keeps us updating the system with new content.

## ⚠️ A Critical Tip for High Scores: PC vs. Mobile

The system is fully cross-platform (works on PC and Mobile), **BUT**—if you want to see your true potential, hear us out:

**We strongly recommend using a PC/Mac with a physical keyboard and mouse.** 🖥️

Why? Many of our high-level mechanical tests are designed around keyboard input and precise mouse movement. While you _can_ take the test on a smartphone, touchscreens have physical limitations.

- **Pro Tip:** If you absolutely must use a tablet or mobile device, try connecting an **external mechanical keyboard**. This will unlock your maximum scoring potential and give you a result that reflects your actual cognitive speed, not your phone’s touch latency.

## The “Pro Dream”: A Reality Check for Youth and Parents

We know many young users take this test to answer a life-changing question: _“Should I drop everything and become a pro gamer?”_

Consider **Arealme Combat Power** your first tryout.

- **For the Dreamers:** If your scores are consistently in the top percentile (S-Tier), you might have the raw physiological talent required for professional play. Use this data to fuel your confidence!
- **For the Realists:** If you find your scores are average despite your best efforts, it’s a valuable reality check. The esports industry is brutal. Realizing that your reaction time or multi-tasking ability has a biological ceiling can help you make smarter career decisions before taking big risks.
- **For Parents:** If your child is serious about esports, don’t just say “no.” Ask them to take this test. It provides objective data. If they rank in the top 1% globally, maybe they have a gift worth nurturing. If not, the numbers speak for themselves, making for a much more rational conversation about their future.

## Happy New Year from Arealme! 🎉

As we celebrate Christmas today and look forward to 2026, we hope the **Combat Power** system helps you improve, whether you are chasing a World Championship trophy or just trying to beat your friends in a casual lobby.

Thank you to the 60,000+ of you who have already joined the fight. We have massive updates planned for the coming year to make your stats even more detailed.

I’ve been a fan of the Indiana Pacers for 25 years, and let me tell you, it’s been one heck of a ride. It all began when I was a scrawny kid in middle school, eating lunch in the school cafeteria and catching the 2000 NBA Finals on a grainy TV. Lakers vs. Pacers. I was hooked the moment I saw Reggie Miller and Jalen Rose running the floor, working together like they were born for it. Reggie, especially, caught my eye. He was tall and skinny like me, but out there balling like a superhero. I became a Reggie Miller fan for life.

Back then, I didn’t realize Reggie was already a veteran, well past his prime. I started watching every Pacers game I could, diving into the regular season and soaking up whatever highlights I could find. I was gutted to learn I’d missed some of his greatest moments, like his epic battles against Michael Jordan’s Bulls in the ‘98 Eastern Conference Finals. I heard about that one time Reggie pushed MJ ([check it out here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=m5drIn3aLco)), and yeah, I’ll admit, it wasn’t his finest moment. As a Jordan fan too (I mean, who doesn’t love MJ, except maybe Jazz fans?), I cringed a bit watching the tape. But as a Reggie stan, I couldn’t help but admire his grit. The guy wasn’t afraid to go toe-to-toe with the GOAT, doing whatever it took to win. That’s what made him special.

Then I stumbled on Reggie’s most legendary performance: the “8 points in 9 seconds” against the Knicks in ‘95 ([watch it here](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YoCpMguR4cQ)). I must’ve replayed that clip a hundred times. The way he stole the game from New York in their own house? Unreal. It kills me that I wasn’t old enough to watch it live. By the time I was a fan, Reggie was still great, but the Pacers didn’t make it back to the Finals in 2001. That year, I rooted hard for the Sixers to take down the Lakers, hoping AI could get some revenge for Indy. But Kobe and Shaq were just too much. Those Lakers teams were monsters.

Fast forward to now—2025. I can hardly believe it’s been 25 years. The Pacers made it back to the Finals this year, their first trip since 2000, and they pushed the Thunder to Game 7. I was so pumped, but also nervous as hell. The night before Game 7, I had this crazy dream: the game was tied at halftime, but in the third quarter, the Pacers scored _two points_. Two! I woke up in a cold sweat, too scared to keep watching in my head.

When I checked my phone the next morning, the fourth quarter was still going. I pulled up the box score, and it was like my dream was coming true. Indy was up by one at the half, but the third quarter was a disaster—Thunder outscored them 34-20. By the time I refreshed, the game was over. Final score: 103-91, Thunder. Another heartbreak.

What made it sting even more was Tyrese Haliburton. He’s the heart of this team, a legit superstar with his slick passes and clutch threes. But in Game 7, he got hurt in the first quarter—something with his Achilles, I heard. He was cooking, too, dropping 9 points in 7 minutes. Without him, the Pacers just fell apart. They turned the ball over 23 times, and OKC made them pay. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander was unstoppable, and the Thunder’s defense was suffocating. If Tyrese had stayed healthy, I really think we could’ve won. The Pacers were so close—Game 6 was a blowout in our favor! But that’s basketball. Luck’s never on our side.

It’s tough to stomach that the Pacers still haven’t won an NBA title. Not in 2000, not now, not ever since they joined the league in ‘76. I keep thinking about Reggie’s fight, Tyrese’s heart, and all the what-ifs. This team’s got so much spirit, though. Guys like Pascal Siakam, Andrew Nembhard, and Bennedict Mathurin stepped up big in the playoffs. If Tyrese comes back strong—and God, I hope his injury isn’t as bad as it sounds—I know we’ll be back.

Being a Pacers fan is like signing up for a rollercoaster that never quite reaches the top. But I wouldn’t trade it. From Reggie’s clutch shots to Tyrese’s no-look passes, this team’s given me memories I’ll carry forever. Here’s to hoping that one day—maybe soon—I’ll see Indy lift that trophy. Until then, I’ll keep cheering, dreaming, and probably stressing out over every close game.

Go Pacers.

I woke up, feeling pretty good, and got straight to working on a new project on [AREALME](https://www.arealme.com/). You know, those days where you feel productive right from the get-go?

Anyway, I decided to grab a healthy snack, so I picked up an apple I bought yesterday. It looked totally fine on the outside – nice and shiny, no weird spots, nothing special abnormal at all. I thought, “Great, a healthy pick-me-up!”

Now, I always peel my apples before eating them. I usually peel a bit, eat a bit, then peel some more. So, I peeled the first section, took a bite. Tasted good, crisp, all normal. I did that a couple more times. Everything was going smoothly.

Then I got to the other side of the apple. As I peeled, I saw it. Just pure, unadulterated rot. Like, dark brown and squishy. My stomach immediately clenched. I instinctively cut the apple into two halves, hoping maybe it was just a surface thing. Nope. It was completely, totally rotten inside. Black and mushy from the core outwards. Ugh.

My first thought was, “Oh my god, I just ate some of that.” My stomach churned. I needed to get it out. Fast. I grabbed my phone and, believe it or not, jumped on TikTok. I searched “how to puke” or “how to throw up yourself.” Surprisingly, I found some pretty helpful tips.

And then… I did it. I actually made myself throw up the apple I’d swallowed. Honestly, it was awful. But I managed to get it all out.

Here’s the really gross part though: that was the first time I’ve ever made myself throw up. And when I finally managed to stop and looked in the mirror, my eyes… there were these little red, bloody spots all around them. Apparently, that can happen when you strain too hard. It looked absolutely terrible and was pretty terrifying for a few minutes.

Talk about a wake-up call. This whole ordeal taught me one very important thing: from now on, I am _always_ cutting my fruit completely into pieces before I eat even a single bite. Not just apples, either. Any fruit. You just never know what’s lurking inside, even if the outside looks perfect.

Seriously, save yourself the stomachache, the panic, and definitely the scary bloody eyes. Check your fruit!
